In these modern times, when you become a Disciple of the Word, people will make fun of you for being different. Because you do not follow what everyone else is doing, and what you do is “weird” to them, then like to mock and make fun of you for that. Growing up in denominational Christianity, whnever anyone was baptized, it was said to them, “I now baptize you in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit”. Coming from a western culture - Texas - the peacemaker was a gun. However, this is not what Scripture was referring to. When you attend a funeral, there is always the weeping and mourning from all those that are left behind. It is a sad time because someone that they were very fond of has died and moved on. Everywhere that you turn now days, someone somewhere is talking about love. You can read about it in books, magazines, and newspapers. It is all over the television, movies and radio. Rightly dividing the Word of YHVH means that you know what it pleasing and acceptable to Him and what is not. The key to all of this is to look to see what has pleased YHVH and to not do what does not. I grew up saying almost as a Bible verse itself, “Speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent.” So where the Bible tells us something to do, we should do, and teach others to do as well.
